Pakistani actress Hina Afridi and digital content creator Taimoor Akbar wrapped up their wedding celebrations with a low-key yet buzzworthy Walima held outdoors in Islamabad, just two days after their festivities began.
Despite the simple setting, the newlyweds once again found themselves at the centre of intense social media attention.
Hina, best known for her performances in Pehli Si Muhabbat and Akhara, turned heads in an ivory-champagne, modern-cut lehenga richly detailed with gold and silver embroidery.
Taimoor complemented her understated elegance in a grey two-piece suit, keeping the look clean and contemporary.
Behind-the-scenes clips from the Walima photoshoot quickly went viral.
In the videos, Hina is seen repeatedly and playfully attempting to kiss her husband, while Taimoor jokingly dodges her advances.
The lighthearted exchange sparked widespread reactions online, with many fans calling the moments adorable and entertaining.
Social media responses, however, were divided. Some users described Hina’s behaviour as “playful” and endearing, while others labelled it “overly eager” and questioned whether such public affection was appropriate to share online. Several fans rushed to the couple’s defence, insisting that affection between newlyweds is natural and harmless.
The Walima buzz followed an earlier viral moment from the couple’s nikah, where Hina was seen making headline-grabbing demands before signing her marriage contract.
In the circulating video, she asked for a monthly allowance of Rs. 500,000, business-class travel every six months, and complete coverage of shopping and lifestyle expenses, clearly stating she would not spend money from her own pocket. Taimoor was seen agreeing to her conditions, prompting a flood of amused and shocked reactions across social platforms.
This playful dynamic was first revealed even before the wedding.
Rising actress Hina Afridi had already set the tone by laying down what many called a “rulebook marriage” condition for her content creator husband-to-be. In a reel shared by Galaxy Lollywood on Instagram, the couple officially announced their wedding on 21 December 2025 through a captivating video, captioned “Bismillah kiya jaye 16-01-2026”.
In the same reel, Hina was seen jokingly but firmly stating her condition before signing the nikah papers, saying, “Har mahainay aap mujhe 5 lakh rupee de gain. Mein kapray lon, shopping karun, kahin pe bhi jaon, sara anay janay ka kharcha aap de gain.”
Translated, she added, “Every month you will give me 500,000 rupees. I will buy clothes, do shopping, and go wherever I want. All travel and related expenses will be paid by you.”
The statement, widely described as a fixed monthly happiness budget, was delivered in a playful tone. Taimoor responded with laughter after listening carefully, making the moment even more viral.
Following the announcement, Hina shared a series of posts documenting each wedding event. Her first post was from the mayon ceremony, where she wore a yellow kameez with silver handmade detailing, paired with a yellow scarf and long skirt-style trousers.
In her caption, she emotionally thanked her brother Shoaib Khan, crediting him for being her mother, sister and backbone throughout her life. She expressed that everything she is today, including her confidence and choices, is because of his support. She also acknowledged her chosen brother Haider Ali Shah, thanking him for always being present.
The celebrations continued with her dholki, where Hina wore a mint green frock adorned with silver detailing and a matching net dupatta. Soon after, she posted romantic mehendi photos with Taimoor, capturing the couple twirling, walking, smiling and laughing together.
She captioned the post with “@taimooriii kay naam ki mehndi laga di” and “I’ve applied henna with the name @taimooriii”.
For the mehendi, Hina opted for a minimal, no-makeup look with soft blush and highlights, letting her natural glow take centre stage. Her outfit featured a pastel-toned blouse with golden handwork, a net dupatta trimmed with silver and gold lace, and a multicoloured pastel skirt.
She completed the look with a matha patti. Taimoor chose a black and dark green sherwani with matching trousers.
The couple later shared their nikah pictures with the caption, “Bismillah. In the name of Allah Paak, Qubool Hai” and “Bismillah. In the name of Allah, I accept.” The ceremony featured both dressed in elegant white ensembles.
Hina wore a long pearl gown paired with a sharara, designed by her brother Shoaib Khan under his label Nyra Couture, featuring delicate golden embroidery. Taimoor matched her look in a white sherwani with refined gold detailing.
The wedding announcement was met with overwhelming love from the entertainment industry and influencer community. Messages poured in from Maya Ali, Sonya Hussain, Khaqan Shahnawaz, Hiba Qadeer, Nameern Khan, Rida Tariq, Kinza Hashmi, Hamza Sohail, Ali Safina, Moroocity, Amar Khan, Warisha Jk and many others.
