A man was shot dead by his own son in the Kalu Khan area of Swabi district on Monday, 24NewsHD TV reported.
According to police, the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Kalu Khan police station in the locality of Ahad Khan, where an 18-year-old youth opened fire inside the house, killing his father on the spot.
Police said the accused, identified as Saud, was arrested along with the weapon, a pistol.
The victim’s body was shifted to the hospital for post-mortem examination.
Further investigation into the incident is underway, police added.
