In a fresh tune of events, the Trail 3 rape case has turned out to be false as the woman was lying to frame the man for monetary benefits, reported the 24NerwsHD TV channel.
According to the Kohsar Police cops, the rape case is a cock and bull story by a gang that blackmails and extorts money from innocent people.
On July 14, a woman namely Sidra filed a complaint at Kohsar Police Station Islamabad that a man allegedly lured her to the capital on the pretext of a job before taking her to a popular trail three where he raped her at gunpoint.
The Kohsar Police Station registered a first information report (FIR) a day later. The complainant told police that the accused claimed they were going for an interview. Instead, he took her to a secluded park on the popular Trail 3 at around 3 pm and raped her.
The federal police started the investigation after arresting the main suspect in the case.
After a detailed investigation, it is revealed that Anwar is the main accused of the heinous design for implicating his adversary Noman in a false rape case.
For this purpose, he contacted a woman namely Saima, a resident of Rawalpindi, to falsely accuse Nauman of rape.
Saima gets in touch with Sidra, a resident of Sheikhupura, and plans to stage a rape scene with Nauman.
According to the plan, Sidra was to take the accused to a popular trail 3 in the capital. On trail three, Sidra had to pretend to rap and shout.
Meanwhile, her accomplices including Saima, a fake police officer named Shakeel, and Manzoor had to reach the spot and make videos.
The accused and his family were to be blackmailed and extorted by making videos. Sidra met the accused Noman at trail three but his colleagues could not reach the spot in time. Sidra went back to Rawalpindi with the accused after a long wait.
After that, she went to Kohsar Police Station to lodge an FIR and went back to Sheikhupura.
The police investigated the case from all angles and brought the hidden facts out. The complainant’s medical report found no evidence of sexual assault. The police also arrested Sidra and she told all the facts and the plan before the magistrate of the area.
According to the police, it is a gang that blackmails and extorts money from innocent people.
Two cases have been already registered against Sidra in Sheikhupura and Murid police stations respectively.
Anwar Ul Haq, an operative of the gang, is a former accused.
A campaign was conducted on social media regarding this case while the case was under investigation.
