Police in Qila Ahmadabad on Sunday registered a case against teachers of a religious seminary who brutally beat up a 10-year-old child, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The child was admitted to District Headquarters Hospital in a critical condition.
He underwent surgery at the hospital.
According to an FIR registered on the complaint of Samar’s father, his son had been admitted to the seminary only 15 days ago for memorizing the holy Quran by heart.
“Somebody informed me that my son was admitted at a hospital,” he said, adding, “When I reached the hospital, my son had been operated upon.”
He claimed in the FIR that his son had been brutally tortured by Qari Ihtesham, Qari Ahmad Raza and Qari Nasir.
