Federal Minister for Energy Ali Pervaiz Malik met Russian businesses delegations on the eve of International Economic Forum 2025 which has started in St. Petersburg, Russia from 18-21 June 2025, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
During the panel discussion along with Chair of Pakistan-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission (IGC) and Minister of Energy Mr. Sergei Tsivilev, the Federal Minister shared Pakistan's minerals sector reform agenda to the world.
During the meeting both sides held detailed discussions on areas of cooperation between the two countries including energy, connectivity, trade and investment, banking and insurance, mining and people-to-people contacts.
The Minister invited Russian corporation to invest in Pakistan in mining sector.
Russian side showed keen interest in enhancing cooperation in all areas of bilateral interests and looked forward to the holding of cooperation in 10th session of IGC to be held in the second quarter of 2025 in Islamabad.
