Islamabad High Court has directed Advocate General Islamabad to get power of attorney signed by PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi within 7 days, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif issued a 2-page order on contempt of court petition. Court ordered Advocate General Islamabad to implement court order within 7 days.
Division bench also orders to remove objections and assign numbers to contempt of court petitions.
The court observed that it is regrettable that no one from the Advocate General's Office is present in Islamabad High Court. IHC order read that if the court decision is not implemented, strict action will be taken as per the law.
