The number of monkeypox cases in Multan has increased after another patient tested positive at Nishtar Hospital, raising the total number of confirmed cases under treatment to two, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.
According to hospital officials, a man from Muzaffargarh has also been admitted to Nishtar Hospital on suspicion of Mpox and is undergoing medical evaluation.
Hospital authorities confirmed that both patients who tested positive for Mpox are receiving treatment in the dedicated ward.
A spokesperson for Nishtar Hospital said all confirmed patients are being provided with the best possible medical care and treatment facilities.
The hospital administration is closely monitoring their condition and following established health protocols to prevent the spread of the disease.
