He noted that hands can sense heat, teeth can determine hardness, the tongue can detect bitterness, and the nose can recognize stale or spoiled food. However, he emphasized that the distinction between halal and haram is something Allah has left for humans to discern through their conscience, faith, and understanding.
"Do we really not know what is halal and what is haram?" he questioned. "If, despite knowing the difference, we still engage in forbidden acts or consume unlawful earnings, then what excuse do we have?" he added, stressing the importance of self accountability and moral responsibility.
