Another case of vandalism has been registered against former premier and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan during his arrival to the Judicial Complex in Islamabad yesterday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The case was registered in the CTD police station in Islamabad on the complaint of police under Anti-Terrorism Act.
The sections of theft and dacoity were also inserted in the FIR.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan and 17 other party leaders have been nominated in the case while thousands of other unknown workers have been booked.
The PTI leaders who have been nominated in the case besides their chief included: Ali Amin Gandapur, Murad Saeed, Shibli Faraz, Umar Ayub, Hissan Niazi, Hammad Azhar, Khurram Nawaz, Farrukh Habib, Amir Kiyani, Col ® Asim, Umar Sultan and Asad Qaiser.
According to the First Information Report, the accused had surrounded the Judicial Complex from all four corners of the building. They smashed window/door glasses of the complex. They torched government vehicles and motorcycles of police officials.
The FIR further said that the accused snatched wireless sets, pistols and cash from police. They also took away eight anti-riot kits and weapons.
Police have arrested 60 accused so far and are conducting raids for the arrest of others.
