South African all-rounder Corbin Bosch has officially responded to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding his decision to withdraw from the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, citing financial stability and long-term career growth as the primary factors influencing his choice.

Bosch was initially selected by Peshawar Zalmi for the tournament but later opted to sign with the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL), a move that frustrated PCB officials and raised concerns about his commitment to the PSL.

Viewing his withdrawal as a potential breach of contract, the PCB initiated legal proceedings through Bosch’s agent to address the matter.

Bosch submitted a formal response to the PCB, clarifying that his decision was not meant to undermine the PSL.

Instead, he emphasized that joining Mumbai Indians was a strategic career choice, given the franchise’s dominance in the IPL and its strong global connections across multiple cricket leagues.

According to Bosch, these factors provide him with greater career security and development opportunities.

Following Bosch’s withdrawal, Peshawar Zalmi moved swiftly to sign Australian middle-order batter Mitchell Owen as his replacement for the upcoming season.
