Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has ordered removing police blockade from Zaman Park.
He said the Zaman Park admin will remove the encroachment as soon as promised. The district administration should immediately restore Zaman Park to its original form, he stressed, adding that the residents of Zaman Park have already endured many hardships.
Earlier, a team of police and other government officials headed by the Lahore commissioner reached Zaman Park and showed the warrant to Imran Khan's lawyers. The DCO, DIG (Operations) and SSP were also present
The Lahore commissioner entered the residence of Imran Khan along with officers. The conversation between the two parties continued for about an hour. The Lahore commissioner came out of Imran Khan's residence and left without answering any questions related to the operation.
