Pakistan’s ambassador in Saudi Arabia Ahmad Farooq met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (FM) Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the Foreign Office’s spokesman, the meeting took place on the occasion of regional envoys’ conference presently underway in Islamabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Dar emphasized further strengthening Pak-Saudi relations. “Cooperation in different sectors, including commerce, investment, energy and human resources development must be expanded,” the FM asserted.
He also underscored the need for remaining in constant touch with Pakistani community living in Saudi Arabia.
Dar appreciated the role being played by Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia in further cementing ties between the two countries.
