An in-charge of a Levi picket embraced martyrdom when gunmen stormed a police picket with rockets near Qila Abdullah graveyard in Chaman, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The attackers opened fire after Levi personnel intercepted them. Levi personnel said that the attack was led by Faqira Achakzai.
Soon after the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and started a search operation.
Levi sources said that Faqira Ackakzai was involved in various criminal cases. Later, residents of the area torched the vehicle of Faqira Achkazai.
