Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with European Union Council President Antonio Costa in Brussels, where both sides expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of Pakistan-EU relations, a Foreign Office spokesperson said Wednesday.
During the meeting, the two leaders agreed to further strengthen partnerships of mutual interest.
Ishaq Dar appreciated the EU’s bilateral and multilateral support for Pakistan and discussed the promotion of trade and economic cooperation, including the GSP Plus framework.
The regional and global security situation was also reviewed, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to multilateralism. The leaders agreed to continue working together to advance common priorities in the international arena.
