Five officials including a woman of Islamabad police have been dismissed from service on the charges of corruption, public complaints and misuse of uniform, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to police sources, SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza gave orders after the allegations were proven.
Departmental action was taken against such personnel of different police stations of Islamabad.
The officials sentenced includes Constable Asad Ali of the Anti-Vehicle Lifting Unit, Constable Saddam of Noon Police Station, Constable Saleem of Noon Police Station, Maria Jamil of Women Police Station and Daniyal of Sabzi Mandi Police Station.
In the inquiry, not all employees could present evidence against the allegations of corruption.
SSP Operations warned that strict departmental action should be taken against corrupt individuals in the department.
