Police in Pakpattan have arrested a female gangster wanted in a raft of criminal cases including theft, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police arrested mastermind of the women's thief gang, Asia Bibi, with the help of CCTV footage from Pakpattan.
District Police Officer (DPO) Javed Chaddhar also recovered Rs3.5 million from the custody of the accused woman and handed the amount to businessman Sheikh Munir Ahmad.
Later, DPO Javed Chaddhar awarded Rs 100,000 cash prize to the police team. The DPO stated that the Pakpattan police are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for citizens.
Bike-lifters gang busted in Lahore
Police arrested three members of a bike-lifting gang in Lahore who were involved in committing different criminal activities in Shahdara and Lahore.
During the robbery, the dacoits used arms and escaped on a motorcycle without a lock.
The arrested accused were identified as Zulfiqar, Sheharyar, and Arsalan.
Superintendent of Police (SP) City Bilal Ahmad appreciated the efforts of the Sagian police in arresting the bike lifters.
He further said that the crackdown against the criminal gangs will continue without any discrimination.
