Legendary actor Salim Nasir’s fans commemorated him on his 36th death anniversary.
Salim Nasir, famously known for playing the character of Akbar in the blockbuster drama Aangan Terha had passed away in 1989 suffering from a heart attack.
Nasir was born on November 15, 1944, in Nagpur, India.
He gained recognition for his acting talents early on when he stepped in the industry with the film Zaib-un-Nisa in 1976.
He is known for his flawless and wide range of acting skills in plays including Aakhri Chatan, Nishan-e-Haider, Ankahi, Dastak, and Aangan Terha.
Two of his most famous roles were Sultan Jalaluddin in the serial Aakhree Chataan and Captain Sarwar Shaheed in the drama series Nishan-e-Haider.
Salim was honored with the President’s Pride of Performance award after his demise.
