An unusual and heartwarming story from the US state of Connecticut has gone viral after three goats escaped from a local cattle farm- only to ecome unexpected social media celebrities months later.
According to foreign media reports, the goats ran away from a farm in July, and since then, they’ve been spotted grazing freely near Interstate 95, wandering across both private and public lands.
Locals claim the trio has been roaming in the same area ever since.
What began as a simple farm escape soon turned into a viral sensation when residents, fascinated by the free-spirited goats, created a Facebook group called “Clinton Roaming Goats.”
The group’s members frequently share photos and sightings of the animals, treating them like local celebrities.
The Clinton Animal Control Department has advised the public not to chase or attempt to capture the goats, warning that they might panic and run toward the highway, potentially causing accidents.
Meanwhile, Sylvia Rosinska, an animal welfare advocate, remarked that the goats seem to be “enjoying the best time of their lives,” though she expressed concern that their freedom could one day lead to an unfortunate incident.
