The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Sunday made an important arrest in the fake accounts case against PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif, reported 24NewsHD TV channel, quoting sources.
The FIA nabbed Asim Suri, vice-president of a private bank and head of the compliance department, who had been pressuring bankers and witnesses in the fake accounts case.
According to the sources, former FIA director Azhar Mahmood was also accused of pressuring bankers and witnesses to change their statements
