Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem will arrive in Lahore tonight at 10:40 via a private airline, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to reports, Arshad Nadeem has reached Bangkok from Tokyo and Asian Athletics Federation (AAF) Vice President Major General (R) Muhammad Akram Sahi will also return home on the same flight. Moreover, Arshad Nadeem's doctor Ali Sher Bajwa is also coming to Lahore with Arshad Nadeem.

Arshad Nadeem finished tenth in the World Athletics Championships with the throw of 82.75 metres. Afterwards, Arshad posted a thank-you note on his official social media channels, where he also explained the struggle behind his campaign in the final. He thanked the Pakistani nation and said that he has been recovering from an injury that he picked up on July 4. However, he gave his best despite the challenging situation. But he will work harder in the future.

Muhammad Akram Sahi also explained that Nadeem was suffering from an injury and competed under immense pressure. He commended the javelin thrower's resilience, acknowledging that Nadeem's disappointing throws did not reflect his true potential.

AAF vice president emphasised that Nadeem gave his best efforts, even though the result was not what they had hoped for. He supported Nadeem's promise to come back stronger in the future.
