Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) on Thursday hosted Sindh Peace March in Karachi.

Speaking at the peach march on Din Muhammad Wafai Road near Sindh Assembly, JUI President Maulana Fazlur Rehman said his party was preaching peace and peace was it only manifesto. He said that people’s mandate was stolen, votes were stolen, but his party continued its political struggle and did not lose the patience.

He said the public mandate was not something that should be given to one party in Sindh and other parties in other provinces. He said that people were now aware and results of the next election would not be different than the results of the Feb 8 general elections of 2024.

He said the Muslim World was scattered and people had high expectations from the Islamic Conference. He said it was necessary to move towards the Islamic bloc. He said, "We had said that there should be a common defence force of the Islamic world. If the King of Saudi Arabia has made defence agreements with Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan should move forward to lead the Islamic world. All goals are not set simultaneously. At this stage, I will talk about the Muslims of Gaza. I will talk about the liberation of Palestine."
