Chief Commissioner Islamabad and Inspector General of Police Islamabad reviewed the overall law and order and security situation in the federal capital during a visit to various areas and key locations, reported 24NewsHD TV.
The officials inspected security arrangements at important entry and exit points, including the deployment of security personnel, traffic management and measures for the protection of citizens.
The Chief Commissioner said peace, public safety and security are the government’s top priorities, directing all relevant departments to ensure effective coordination to maintain law and order.
He instructed the administration, police, CDA and other institutions to maintain close coordination and ensure heightened monitoring at sensitive locations and major entry and exit routes.
The Chief Commissioner directed that security arrangements remain fully operational and personnel stay alert at all times. He also called for effective monitoring through Safe City cameras and immediate coordination among relevant departments.
The officials were directed to take effective measures to ensure smooth movement of citizens and allow the business community and other segments of society to continue their lawful activities peacefully.
The Chief Commissioner said the law would be enforced without discrimination and all available resources would be utilized, in accordance with the law, to maintain a safe, peaceful and conducive environment in Islamabad.
He further directed authorities to continuously review security arrangements at important locations and ensure that peace, public safety and lawful activities remain uninterrupted
