Pakistani producer Nina Kashif has revealed that she had the script of Aapki Izzat with her for more than two years before the project finally moved forward.
Speaking about the drama, Nina said she had been carrying the script for around two to two-and-a-half years but was waiting for the right casting before taking it to the sets.
She revealed that one actress had almost agreed to be part of the project previously, but the plan could not materialize due to certain reasons.
Interestingly, Nina said she received a fun message from the same actress a few days ago, reflecting on how things eventually work out according to destiny.
Aap ki Izzat has been receiving attention from viewers for its storyline and dialogues.
The drama is written by renowned writer Umera Ahmed and directed by Saife Hassan.
Nina Kashif is an award-winning Pakistani television and film producer who has worked behind several well-known projects in the country's entertainment industry.
She has also served in senior creative and programming roles at major television networks and is currently associated with HUM TV.
