Two terrorists belonging to a banned organization were gunned down during a police encounter in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The encounter took place in Pir Ghazi Goth in the Manghopir area of Karachi, in which two terrorists of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) were killed during an encounter with the Crime Control Department (CCD) team.
CCD personnel also recovered a klashinkov and pistols from the custody of the dead terrorists.
Later, the dead bodies of the terrorists were shifted to Jinnah Hospital in Karachi for completion of necessary process.
The second police encounter occurred in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal Nazarat area of Karachi, in which one dacoit was killed, and his other colleague was arrested.
According to details, the Anti-Vehicle Cell (ALVC), after receiving credible information, intercepted a Honda 125 motorcycle.
The accused opened fire on the police team, during which both dacoits were arrested in an injured condition, but one dacoit lost his life on the way to the hospital.
Police started the process of identifying the dead and arrested the dacoit.
The third police encounter took place in the Teen Hatti area near Liaquatabad, in which one accused was killed, and his other companion escaped from the scene.
Police started a search operation with the help of the latest devices to apprehend the accused.
Police also recovered arms, currency, mobile phones and a motorcycle from their possession.
In another police encounter in Defence area of Karachi, one dacoit was arrested, and his three colleagues escaped from the scene.
The arrested dacoit was later identified as Javed. Police also recovered arms and ammunition from his possession.
In a separate police encounter in Orangi Town Sector 16 near German Ground, police arrested four accused in an injured condition.
The arrested accused were later identified as Hamza, Jan Sher, Nauman and Jalil.
