Another policeman who was going on polio duty was shot dead near Atal Sharif in Dera Ismail Khan Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Head Constable Dilawar was appointed as DFC in Kalachi police station. On Monday, when he was going to provide security to polio workers, some unknown persons opened fire on him, martyred him on the spot. 

The DIK police have started a search operation in the area. They called it a terrorism incident.

A day before, a policeman was also shot dead in Peshawar on Sunday as he was returning to home after performing his duty along with a polio vaccination team. 

The Rapid Response Force (RRF) personnel was on his home after polio duty when unidentified men riding on a motorcycle shot him dead in the precincts of the Daudzai Police Station.

The attackers made their escape good from the scene.
