Self-exiled former premier Mian Nawaz Sharif has urged the institutions, political parties and the nation to take immediate action against Imran Khan who has been proved the biggest thief in a foreign funding case.

According to the 24News, the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif talked to the media after a virtual party meeting in London on Tuesday.

Nawaz Sharif said that the decision of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in the foreign funding case proved who the thief is.

The PML-N supremo said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is a tool of anti-national forces in Pakistan so action should be taken against him immediately.

The former premier said Imran Khan during the last eight years of investigation in the foreign funding case in the ECP used to say that he was dead honest but now has been proved the biggest theft and money launderer.

PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif said the PTI chairman was imposing a foreign agenda on Pakistan. He added that Imran has destroyed the national economy in his last four years of tenure.

While the PML-N leader and former finance minister Senator Ishaq Dar said the ECP has done its job, now all institutions should play their role.

He emphasised to the institutions that immediate legal action will have to be taken against Imran Khan for taking prohibited funding.

Imran Khan received charity and prohibited funding for political purposes, he said adding that the nation, political parties and institutions should punish those who work against the integrity of Pakistan.
