Sherry Rehman named among 25 most influential women of world

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Sherry Rehman has brought laurels to Pakistan by being named amongst the 25 most influential women of the world, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

Renowned magazine Financial Times has released the list of 25 most influential women of 2022, and Federal Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman has been included in the list.

The magazine has dubbed Sherry Rehman a “patient negotiator”. The list also includes Prime Minister of Finland, Vice President of Colombia, Prime Minister of Barbados, Meghan Markle and others.

Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland, eulogised Senator Sherry Rahman, stating that Sherry Rehman had delivered a powerful speech about the ravages of climate change in Pakistan at COP27 the previous month.
