Star New Zealand batsman Colin Munro has withdrawn from Pakistan Super League (PSL) Edition Six, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Colin Munro has decided not to travel outside New Zealand after the government lowered the quarantine facilities.

For PSL6, Colin Munro is a member of Islamabad United. After his withdrawal, Islamabad United reserved the right to choose his replacement.

The first match of the PSL6 will be held on February 20 at Karachi's National Stadium. The tournament will last a little more than a month and conclude on March 22, with its final at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus situation, only Karachi and Lahore will host the matches, while Rawalpindi and Multan — which had hosted matches in PSL 2020 — will miss out this time.
