There was a free exchange of kicks and blows as a clash between two groups of students at University of Okara on Wednesday morning, resulted in injuries to two students, prompting a heavy contingent of the police to reach site of the incident to control the situation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The groups kept fighting with each other even in the police’s presence.

Later, police also took four students into custody for firing at the university’s gate.

However, no action had been taken by the university’s administration till the filing of this report.

Yesterday (Tuesday, February 1) too, some students of a private college had brutally beaten up a lone student standing at Okara’s Haveli Road.

The CCTV footage of the incident, which 24News had managed to obtain, showed a gang mercilessly thrashing and kicking the student.

The seriously injured student was rushed to hospital.

In this case too, the college administration failed to take notice of the incident.
