Pakistan cricketers meet families of Christchurch’s mosque attack victims

Pakistan’s cricket team Saturday met with the families of Christchurch mosque attack victims at the Hagley Oval.

During the meeting, the players and team management prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs.

“I know we didn’t go through this tragedy but believe me, we are equal partners in your grief,” batting coach Younus Khan said to the victims.

Two consecutive mass shootings occurred at mosques in a terrorist attack in Christchurch, New Zealand, during Friday Prayers on March 15, 2019. At least 51 people were martyred in a horrific attack. Nine of them were Pakistanis.
