PDM President and JUI-F supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman has termed the anti-government fight of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) ‘Jihad’ and said the PDM is Hussaini and Prime Minister Imran Khan is ‘Yazidi’, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

He was talking to media persons at Madrasa Usmania in Lahore on Saturday. 

“There is no conspiracy against Imran Khan as we are running the movement openly against him. We are Hussaini and Imran Khan you are Yazidi,” the JUI-F head declared.  

Maulana Fazl speaking about former president Pervez Musharraf said he is a public figure and why can’t people talk against him. “If a case is registered and arrests are made for speaking against the army then the government itself will be dismissed within 72 hours,” he said, adding “The army has offered countless sacrifices which we respect but if the army intervenes in politics, then we will oppose that and talk about it blatantly,” he further said.

Maulana Fazl said the government itself praised JUI-F’s Ansar-e-Islam and now banning the force is nothing but the government’s confusion as Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam is a registered party. “We will obey the law,” he vowed. 

Maulana Fazl also announced that JUI-F will hold an ‘Israel Na-Manzoor’ rally in Karachi on January 21.

The PDM will also show solidarity with Kashmiris on February 5 (Kashmir Day), he said. 

The JUI-F supremo said he will also mark a day against ‘Kashmir sellers’.

The PDM president accused the NAB of being a vindictive and puppet body and they do not accept such accountability.

“We have not shut the door of negotiations but with whom we will talk. Negotiations with a fake government are not possible. First, they must step down and announce new elections, then we will talk,” the PDM president said.

Commenting on the making of a new faction of JUI-F by the dissidents, Fazl said it was a process of reformation and claimed that there is no disintegration in his party.

It is pertinent to note that Maulana Fazl had yesterday said that the opposition's movement would no longer be directed only at Prime Minister Imran Khan-led government but also his backers, hinting that the alliance's possible long march to the capital could also be to Rawalpindi.
