Islamabad police arrested an armed man from the entry point of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s public meeting at Parade Ground on Saturday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the police have recovered a pistol of 30-bore with 10 bullets from the possession of a person who belongs to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The armed man was trying to enter the premises of the public meeting of PTI from one of the main entry points at the Parade Ground.
In the initial investigations, he is identified as Ghani and a government employee of the Public Health Department in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 
The suspect has been shifted to some unknown place for further investigations.
