Bollywood beauty Disha Patani recently shared a post against racism in the wake of African-American man George Floyd’s death in police custody. But, soon after the actress got brutally slammed by the netizens as in the past she endorsed fairness creams.

Calling her 'Hypocrite' one of the users wrote, 'Look at this who is saying the hypocrite who is endorsing fairness cream for money now giving lectures all colours are same'.

Now, Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas is also called for the same.

The Ehd-e-Wafa star took to Instagram to share a video of a young school girl giving a speech on why black lives mattered and being an African-American, she burst into tears during her deliverance.

Taking to Instagram, Zara wrote: “Imagine. Our kids. People we know. Go through this. Every day of their life. Just because of their skin colour. Then adds up their societal balance of class. Bank account. Assets. They have to fight for the basics such as breathing. Racism is a war. Not a threat to humanity. It’s a war that we have to fight against so much so that we have to re-invent, re-grow, and re-think every thought and idea about classism. Differences. Sexism. Everything. No one deserves this.”

However, she came under fire for raising her voice against something that she supports through a fairness cream ad in her own country.

But the Ehd-e-Wafa star doesn't think it encourages hate or abuse against a group by supporting these products.

In the comments section of her post, a user wrote, “Really liked your fairness cream ad,” following which the celebrity lost her cool.

Zara replied: “Good, because that does not promote killing. Does not promote racism. Stop making this out of context when it’s not the agenda. Your word doesn’t matter here. What matters is human life and equality and this is what I am here for. A face wash is killing no one,” said Zara.
