Rawalpindi Cantonment police recovered weapons from the vehicle of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader’s son, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

As per details, the Rawalpindi Cantt police on Wednesday searched the vehicle of Mr Osama Tanveer, son of PML-N senator Chaudhry Tanveer, and arrested his five security guards along with the weapons. 

Police said that the arrested guards were involved in several cases. 

Sources informed that the seized arms were licensed and lawful. 

Mr Osama said that the arrested men were his personal bodyguards and the seized arms were also licensed. He alleged the authorities were politically victimizing them.
