Gold price witnesses big increase

The price of gold Thursday witnessed a sharp jump, despite the rupees continue its winning streak against the greenback, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The price of 24-carat gold went up by Rs1300 per tola.

With this flight of gold, the price of 24-carat gold reached Rs138,600.

The price of 10-gram gold of 24-carat has also been increased by Rs1112 to reach Rs118,827. The price of 10-gram gold of 22-carat has also popped and now is being traded for Rs108,925.

The price of 24-carat silver remained stable by Rs1570. 

The price of 10-gram silver is being traded for Rs1346.02 with same price.

In the international market, the price of gold per ounce has also increased by $25. The international rate for gold per ounce has now reached $1856.
