Former prime minister and PML-N senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the opposition parties’ will bring no-trust motion against the government even without the support of the PML-Q, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

He was of the view that the purpose of politics should be to serve the people. Countries do not run on amnesty schemes, he added.

On his reference filed by the NAB, he said the country had been witnessing the NAB ‘shows’ for the last 22 years. He said the watchdog had made baseless cases. The bureau will have to be accountable for these false cases.

Abbasi said that the NAB had damaged the national institutions. It is playing with the lives of people, he said stressing that the bureau needed to be abolished.
