Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday ordered to constitute a committee to probe the audio leaks of the former chief justice Saqib Nisar’s son Najam Saqib, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

Prime Minister also directed to ensure the representation of all parties in the committee while chairing a consultative meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).

The PML-N federal ministers and central leaders attended the meeting.

They held detailed consultations on the overall political situation of the country.

The meeting was briefed about the talks held with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) delegation.

The court proceedings were also reviewed in detail.

Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar briefed the participants on constitutional issues.

The PML-N leaders agreed to continue using the forum of Parliament effectively. They vowed not to allow anyone to interfere in the affairs of Parliament.

The ruling party expressed concern over the audio leak of Saqib Nisar's son.

In the meeting, the participants also discussed the third round of talks and the demands of the PTI leadership.
