The female leads of the web series ‘Heeramandi’, Richa Chadha and Manisha Koirala have appeared as guests on an interview and spoke about their working experience with Sanjay Leela Bhansali (SLB), as he is known as the taskmaster, and if anything has changed over the years with him.

Manisha and Richa, who have worked with Bhansali before, strongly came out in defense of the filmmaker over being called the strict director.

Richa Chadha who has been SLB's actor in his film Ram Leela, said:

“No offence to actors but today even they have become lazy and with Sanjay sir, you have to act with your whole body and give 100 percent focus. It's not easy to work with him, but what happens? there are times when you see something and you see an actor where you feel he or she is not into it, and with Sanjay sir, you cannot do that cheating with the master".

Richa further added how SLB makes you reach your potential, while Manisha Koirala agreed with her and said," He is not a hard taskmaster but a perfectionist".

Manisha refused to call him by this name and rather claimed that SLB brings out the best in you as an actor and the way he understands his craft, no one else does.

‘Heeramandi’ is one of the most beautiful creations by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The web series features Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, and other strong female characters. Over the years SLB has entertained his audience with his art and leaves them transfixed.
