Police arrest accused involved in targeted killing of police officers in Taxali, Lahore

The Lahore Police have arrested the prime suspect allegedly involved in targeting police officers and personnel in the Taxali area.

Usman Khorasani, the accused, along with his brother, was involved in the killings.

The police have apprehended the main accused Usman from the Defense area of Lahore while the police parties are raiding different places to apprehend his brother.

Along with the main suspect, authorities also recovered crucial evidence including the motorcycle used in the attack, three pistols, and attire presumably worn during the assault.

DIG Operations Al Falah Town personally oversaw the operation, which involved a series of raids across different locations in Lahore.

The operational team, comprised of officers from various divisions, zeroed in on Usman Khorasani after analyzing CCTV footage from Ghazi Road, where he was spotted yesterday.

The coordinated efforts involved multiple teams working simultaneously under the supervision of senior officials. The accused has been handed over to the CTD for further investigation.

Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the second brother of the accused, who is also believed to be involved in the targeted attacks.

Two policemen were killed, and one remained injured in the last there targeted attacks on policemen in the capital city of the province.
