Germany will provide funds of 129 million euros to Pakistan for alleviation of poverty from the country, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Tuesday.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, an agreement on financial cooperation has been reached between Pakistan and Germany.

The agreement was signed by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, the statement said.

As per the agreement, Germany will provide these funds for poverty alleviation, institutional reforms and social security. And, the money will be spent on human resource development, climate change and green energy.
