Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan has paid tribute to the ex-skipper of the Afghanistan national team, Asghar Afghan.

Mohammad Rizwan heaped praise on Asghar Afghan’s leadership qualities after the latter announced his retirement.

Rizwan took to Twitter and dropped a post, containing a series of pictures of Asghar Afghan.

“Asghar Afghan is indeed one of those few cricketers who played a key role for Afghanistan team. He along with @MohammadNabi, Nawroz Mangal and others started something gigantic for cricket in the country. More power to you my brother. Lots of prayers for your second innings.”
