The Islamabad High Court on Wednesday issued notice to the local administration for not giving a No Objection Certificate to the PTI for holding its long march and sit-in in the federal capital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The court summoned the concerned officer of Islamabad administration to appear before it tomorrow and explain the position.

Justice Aamer Farooq heard the petition filed by PTI leader Ali Nawaz Awan.

The PTI lawyer said that the party had submitted an application seeking permission to hold its Haqeeqi Azadi March in Islamabad but the administration was dragging the matter and was not issuing the NOC.

He told the court that the PTI informed the administration that it wanted to hold its rally on Nov 6-7.

The court after issuing notice adjourned the case till tomorrow.
