Not easy to change obsolete judicial system: CJ Minallah

The outgoing Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Athar Minallah has said that people should get cheap and prompt justice, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

He was talking during the foundation stone lying ceremony of a Legal Facility Centre in the new building of the Islamabad High Court on Wednesday.

Besides IHC CJ Minallah, other IHC judges and sessions judges participated in the ceremony. 

Federal Law Minister Ayaz Sadiq, former law minister Azam Nazir Tarar, SCBA President Abid Zubair and former SCBA president Ahsan Bhoon also attended the ceremony. 

Talking on the occasion, Chief Justice Minallah said that he extended his congratulations on the establishment of a new legal facility centre in the court. .

He said it was not easy to change the 70-year-old obsolete system with a magic wand.
