As part of its measures to facilitate gas consumers during winter, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has started distributing LPG cylinders to domestic and commercial consumers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

SNGPL is distributing initially 100,000 LPG cylinders in the cities of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala, starting from November 1.

SNGLP management said the consumers are being provided with gas cylinders at government rates in winter. Free delivery facility available within a 10 km area of ​​SNGPL Islamabad Office. Sui Gas Office in Islamabad and LPG cylinder supply started in Sector G-6, SNGPL administration said. 

It is pertinent that in order to ensure the smooth operation of the new initiative, the gas utility entered into an LPG distribution agreement with Sui Southern LPG Limited (SLL). SNGPL has embarked on introducing LPG as alternate fuel in line with the government’s direction and SNGPL’s vision of diversifying the Company’s business and ensuring the supply of gas to consumers. 

Customers can order the cylinders using the Company’s mobile app, website, dedicated phone numbers, WhatsApp number, and official Social Media accounts. The cylinder will be delivered to the customers’ doorstep promptly.
