Sindh Minister for Information Saeed Ghani on Friday said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will stage a public rally in Karachi on October 4 (Sunday) in response to MQM-P's march, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a news briefing in Karachi, Saeed Ghani said that PPP rally will be a success as thousands of people will attend it. He added that MQM-P has tarnished the image of Urdu-speaking population, demanding a separate province comprising the urban parts of Sindh by MQM-P leaders is a tactic to blackmail the Sindh government.

Regarding Local Government elections, the PPP minister stated that LG polls will be held in a fair and transparent manner and PPP representatives will again win a majority of the seats.

Saeed Ghani said the PPP government has planned to file a petition against the Baldia factory tragedy case verdict as some of those involved in the incident were not awarded punishment.

While criticising Prime Minister Imran Khan, Saeed Ghani said that the PTI government is ineligible and failed to run the affairs of the country amicably.

The PPP rally will set off from Ayesha Manzil in Karachi at 2pm.
