The demand for rehabilitation and drainage of flood water from Khairpur Nathan Shah has become a top trend on Twitter. 
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, within a few hours, thousands of tweets were made on Twitter. 
Social media users especially from the city of Khairpur Nathan Shah are demanding pumping out floodwater from the villages and towns of Khairpur Nathan Shah. 
The city has been completely submerged by flooding and torrential rains water for the last two months. The delay in draining the rain and flood water which is keeping towns, villages, and agricultural fields submerged, inadequate relief aid, and increasing health problems have been causing protests among the residents.  
The residents are forced to live in makeshift huts despite repeated requests to the authorities for drainage of flood water. So far, 30 people have lost their lives due to the flood.
