After the Supreme Court (SC) refused to alter the May 14 election date, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Thursday chaired a meeting of the leaders of the allied parties to consult with them a strategy for elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
As per the official sources, the government’s legal team and advisers also attended the meeting.
The participants of the meeting were given a detailed briefing by the government’s legal team.
They also deliberated on the case related to elections in Punjab in the Supreme Court.
