Aftab Iqbal vehemently opposed the specific trolling aimed at Sohail Ahmed, emphasizing that any remarks made by both parties were private and should not be publicly criticized without considering their personal and professional connections.

In case readers are not aware Aftab Iqbal and Sohail Ahmed, two prominent figures in Pakistani electronic media, have been making headlines recently. The controversy began when Sohail Ahmed made aggressive comments about Aftab Iqbal during Ahmed Ali Butt's Eid Special Podcast. Ahmed Ali Butt asked Sohail Ahmed about Aftab Iqbal's views on Aman Ullah and himself. Sohail Ahmed reacted strongly to Aftab Iqbal's opinion, leading to a heated exchange of words between the two.

The podcast sparked a conflict between the supporters of the iconic personalities. Fans of Aftab began belittling Sohail , while Sohail Ahmed's fans criticized Aftab Iqbal, leading to a divide among their fan bases.

“Whatever is happening between me and Sohail Ahmed is the matter between the two brothers, and we might be indulged in such quarrels in future too, but that would purely be our personal matter, and no one is allowed to troll anyone in this. Also, trolling someone like Sohail Ahmed is totally unacceptable. Don’t you know what kind of actor he is? Whoever is trolling Sohail Ahmed is trolling Qavi Khan! These people have served Pakistan with their amazing craft for decades. They deserve to be celebrated.”.

He further expressed his disappointment with the use of offensive language and disrespectful behavior in expressing opinions, deeming it unacceptable, and also called out YouTubers who had gone too far in their remarks. He acknowledged his role in sparking the debate with his initial response.
