A court in Lahore on Monday granted bail to PTI social media activist Falak Javed in the Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari fake video case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry, who heard Falak’s petition, ordered her to deposit bail bonds of Rs100,000 each.

Barrister Mian Ali Ishfaque appeared on behalf of the PTI activist.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had registered a case against Falak and others for spreading fake videos of Azma.

Falak had been in jail since September 24, 2025.

The Punjab minister had sought action against the persons involved in sharing her edited images on social media in July, 2024.

She alleged that Falak had edited and spread her images on social media.

The minister argued that she had been defamed on social media and that her constitutional rights had been violated.

In her petition, she asked the court to order the FIA to take action against the respondents and submit a compliance report.
