The security forces killed two terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in the Khyber district of KP, ISPR said on Saturday.
The military media wing added the dead remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and innocent citizens.
An intense firefight between the terrorist and troops took place during the operation, it said adding that a hunt for the militants is underway.
The locals lauded the troops for their matchless services in the war on terror.
